CUNYAC Player of the Week (9/22/08)

Taiwo Alabi posted a pair of 1-0, 11-save shutouts for CCNY in CUNYAC play last week. Alabi's play as the last line of defense helped the Beavers, winners of three straight, to a pair of 1-0 victories in CUNYAC competition. He made 11 saves in earning his first clean sheet of the season against John Jay (Sept. 17), before matching those totals three days later against Staten Island

Did you know that the CCNY Women's Indoor Track & Field Team finished second at the 2007 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships? The Women captured three gold medals (Triple Jump, Long Jump, 55-Meters), and placed top eight in other events to total 37 overall points.
