Diane enters her fifth year as Head Athletic Trainer at The City College of New York.  Additionally, she also serves as Senior Women's Administrator and is therefore responsible for compliance and eligibility issues at City College.  Diane brings sixteen years of experience as a Certified Athletic  Trainer to CCNY.  Prior to her appointment, Diane worked at St. John's University for two and a half years.  During her tenure at St. John's, she worked with women's soccer, women's basketball, football, men and women's fencing and the men and women's outdoor track and field teams.  Diane's other collegiate experience includes two years at Columbia University (NewYork), one year at Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA) and 5 years at Moravian College (Bethlehem, PA).  Additionally, she worked in a sports medicine clinic for five years and has worked with semi-pro and professional soccer teams here in New York- the Pancyprians and the New York Freedoms, respectively.  At City College, Diane is responsible for the 150 student-athletes that comprise the school's fourteen athletic teams.

Professionally, Diane has worked in just about every realm of athletic training including work in the clinical setting, corporate and industrial fitness and wellness, private club teams and professional teams, and on the high school and collegiate athletic level.  She has worked with almost every NCAA sport in her sixteen years.  Diane is actively involved in her professional organization, the National Athletics Trainer Association and regularly participates in the certification process working as an examiner.  In the summer of 2004 Diane had the honor of being selected as the Athletic Trainer for the CUNY Goodwill Tour.  She accompanied the CUNY Women's Basketball All-stars to Quito, Ecuador for ten days.

Diane received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the State University of New York College at Cortland in Education.  She is the daughter of CCNY alumnus, her father, Lloyd, who is a member of the class of 1950.

CUNYAC Player of the Week (So., Jumps; Valley Stream, N.Y./August Martin HS) (2/5/2008)

Brown placed first at the Delaware Thomson Invitational (Feb. 1), winning the high jump event with a season-high leap of 6-9.75. The jump provisionally qualifies Brown for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, and was just one-half inch shy of the automatic qualification standard.
