 Kristina Phu Women's Soccer HVWAC Rookie of the Week -Mid -Fr Jackson Heights, NY Phu was selected to as the HVWAC Rookie of the Week for the week of September 10. Starting the season with a new coach at the helm is a challenge in itself, but doing so against one of the most powerful teams in the region is a level of adversity that can dampen the spirits of many athletes, but not CCNY freshman midfielder Kristina Phu. Despite a 9-0 defeat at the hands of the Scarlet Raiders, Phu performed tremendously, and was a key cog for the CCNY defense that improved remarkably as the game went along. |
