Richard Gomez Receives Honorable Mention from D3Baseball.com
D3basebball.com announced their 2008 All-America team on Wednesday, May 21. Senior, third-baseman Richard Gomez (New York, NY) received an Honorable Mention to the 2008 D3baseball.com All-America Team. The Beaver ranks No. 5 nationally with his .505 batting average, and No. 17 with a .554 on-base percentage. The Beaver led the CUNYAC with eight home runs and a .847 slugging percentage (No. 7 in NCAA).
Garo was exceptional for the Women's Volleyball team this season as she was named Player of the Year as well as Most Valuable Player of the CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championships.Her stellar play helped lead her team to their first title since 2004.
