Men's Basketball Falls to Yeshiva, 60-67
Bronx, N.Y. - The Maccabees of Yeshiva University held the Beavers to a 60-67 loss at the Nat Holman Gymnasiun on Monday night. The loss drops the Beaver’s overall record to 1-8.

Leading scorers for the Beavers were freshman forward Oladi Osindero (Brooklyn, NY) with 17 points, senior guard Taleek Norman (Bronx, NY) with 14 and sophomore guard Froilan Vazquez (Bronx, NY) totaling 13. Osindero also carried the team grabbing game high,12 rebounds.

For the Yeshiva Maccabees, freshman Zachary Gordon totaled 26 points and 10 rebounds.

CCNY travels to Baruch College on Thursday, December 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

CUNYAC Player of the Week (So., Jumps; Valley Stream, N.Y./August Martin HS) (2/5/2008)

Brown placed first at the Delaware Thomson Invitational (Feb. 1), winning the high jump event with a season-high leap of 6-9.75. The jump provisionally qualifies Brown for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, and was just one-half inch shy of the automatic qualification standard.
