Taiwo Alabi posted a pair of 1-0, 11-save shutouts for CCNY in CUNYAC play last week. Alabi's play as the last line of defense helped the Beavers, winners of three straight, to a pair of 1-0 victories in CUNYAC competition. He made 11 saves in earning his first clean sheet of the season against John Jay (Sept. 17), before matching those totals three days later against Staten Island.

2009 CUNYAC Player of the Year
Garo was exceptional for the Women's Volleyball team this season as she was named Player of the Year as well as Most Valuable Player of the CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championships.Her stellar play helped lead her team to their first title since 2004.
