New York, NY-The CCNY Men’s Soccer team tied for the second time this season, this time resulting in a 2-2 draw against the New York City College of Technology on Wednesday night at Riverbank State Park. The Beavers now carry a record of 3-11-2 overall and 3-3-2 in CUNYAC.
Freshman defender Mohammad Adalhaleem gave the Beavers the lead with a goal scored at the 44th minute mark. The score at the half stood 1-0 for CCNY.
With only 8 minutes into the second period sophomore forward Dennis Githui scored the second Beaver goal giving CCNY a 2-0 advantage. Freshman forward, Tony Agyei scored both goals for City Tech. The first goal he scored in the 68th minute and the second in the 76 minute.
Neither team managed a goal in the overtime periods as the game ended in a 2-2 tie.
The Beavers return to the field on Monday, October 22, when they travel to Purchase, NY to take on Manhattanville College. That game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.

Brown placed first at the Delaware Thomson Invitational (Feb. 1), winning the high jump event with a season-high leap of 6-9.75. The jump provisionally qualifies Brown for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, and was just one-half inch shy of the automatic qualification standard.
