CUNYAC Player of the Week OH - So - New York, NY

Garo, a 6’0” sophomore, who was a 2005 CUNYAC First Team All-Star returned to the Beavers lineup with a bang after sitting out the 2006 season. The Manhattan resident had 30 kills in back-to-back victories over Mount St. Vincent, while hitting at a .500 pace. She also added nine service aces in the two matches. The Red River High School alum also had 31 kills and 22 digs in three earlier matches at the NYU Tournament to tip-off the season, highlighted by a season-high 18 kills versus SUNY Geneseo and 14 digs versus Preseason Top 20 New York University.
