Co-Field Athlete of the Week Rinaldy Alvarez, CCNY Sr., Jumps/Sprints Brooklyn, N.Y./Brooklyn Tech
Alvarez placed fifth overall in the long jump at the Maryland Terrapin Invitational, leaping to a mark of 20-foot-5. He also placed 25th overall in the 100-meter dash, crossing the finish line in a time of 11.75 seconds.

KristinaPhu Women's Soccer HVWAC Rookie of the Week (10/10/07)
For the second straight week and third time this season, Kristina Phu is the HVWAC Rookie of the Week after leading the vastly improved Beavers to their first HVWAC win of the year, a 5-1 win over Medgar Evers on Sunday. Phu also enjoyed solid outings during loses to Mount Saint Mary, Mount Saint Vincent, and NJCU.
