Bronx, NY- The City College of New York Women's Fencing team traveled to Hunter College on December 1, 2006. The Beavers were defeated 13-14 by the Hunter College Hawks.
In Foil the Beavers finish 1-8. Karen Wat fenced 1-2 to give the Beavers the sole point for that weapon.
In Epee the Beavers finished victorious by sweeping the Hawks 9-0.
In Sabre, Kristel Shu, Kathy Zhang and Dorothhy Carlton won a bout each giving the Beavers a finish of 3-6 for that weapon.

2009 CUNYAC Player of the Year
Garo was exceptional for the Women's Volleyball team this season as she was named Player of the Year as well as Most Valuable Player of the CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championships.Her stellar play helped lead her team to their first title since 2004.
