Bronx, NY - The CCNY Women's Soccer Team defeated the College of St. Elizabeth, 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon. The Beavers end the regular season with a record of 4-8 overall and 2-3 in HVWAC.
Sophomore Carina Subia scored two goals for the Beavers. While freshman Kristina Phu also contributed with two goals. Kate malytska and Mariela Estrella each scored one.
The Beavers enter the HVWAC as the #3 seed and will face Mt. St. Vincent in the semifinal round of the tournament on Thursday, November 1 at 4:00 p.m.

KristinaPhu Women's Soccer HVWAC Rookie of the Week
For the second time this season, Kristina Phu is the HVWAC Rookie of the Week after leading the vastly improved Beavers to a huge 2-0 win over Medgar Evers on Wednesday. Phu scored a huge insurance goal to seal the victory during the final minutes. After finishing fifth in HVWAC action a year ago, CCNY has managed to compete with the very best the conference has to offer in 2007.
