Women’s Tennis defeated by Brooklyn College in CUNYAC Quarterfinals
Bronx, NY -The #6 seeded CCNY Women's Tennis team lost to  #3 Brooklyn College in the quarterfinal round of the CUNYAC Tournament on Tuesday afternoon. The Bridges dropped the Beavers 1-8. The Team end the season with an ooverall record of 5-9 and 3-5 in CUNYAC.

The sole winner for the Beavers was freshman Josephina Allotey in the 6th singles flight.  She defeated her opponent 6-4, 7-5.

HVWAC Rookie of the Week

For the second time this season, Kristina Phu is the HVWAC Rookie of the Week after leading the vastly improved Beavers to a huge 2-0 win over Medgar Evers on Wednesday. Phu scored a huge insurance goal to seal the victory during the final minutes. After finishing fifth in HVWAC action a year ago, CCNY has managed to compete with the very best the conference has to offer in 2007.
