CUNY DSI Workshops

Our workshops are carefully designed and follow an interactive student-centered agenda.  Furthermore, our workshops focus on highlighting carefully selected library and archival resources to inform visiting student groups about the influence Dominican culture and history have had on the arts, politics, economy, and popular culture in the United States.  Each workshop lasts approximately one hour and consists of power point presentations, viewing of audio video clips that showcase aspects of Dominican culture and history, and many hands-on activities during which students can voice their interest areas.
