This TV documentary focuses on the final days of the 30 year old dictatorial regime of Rafael Leonidas Trujillo spurred by the assassination of the dictator. It highlights the power struggle within a headless dictatorship overseen by Trujillo's heirs. The video portrays a series of popular revolts coupled with a military uprising led by air force pilots on November 19, 1961 that prevented the Trujillos from perpetuating themselves in power.
