This 14-track CD is a collection of music from the now legendary concert “7 Días con el Pueblo: 1er. Encuentro Internacional de la Nueva Canción” (7 days with the People: First International Concert of the New Song) held in Santo Domingo in 1974 during the authoritarian regime of Joaquín Balaguer. Featuring Expresión Joven, Los Guaraguaos, Guadalupe Trigo y su Grupo, Nueva Forma, Convite, Johnny Ventura, Víctor Manuel, Roberto Darvin, Antonio Cabán Vale (El Topo) Noel Nicola and Pablo Milanés.
