Luis Días: Lo Mejor del Terror
Luis Días: Lo Mejor del Terror. Produced by Roldán Mármol. Santo Domingo, 2010. Spanish. 76 minutes.
This 16-track CD released shortly after Luis Dias’s death is a collection of some of the best work by this irreverent Dominican avant-garde musician whose politically charged music – a fusion of afro-Dominican music, jazz, rock and Nueva Canción – continues to delight the public and influence artists in the Dominican Republic and beyond.
