Service-Learning at CCNY—Get Involved as a Community Partner
The mission of the City College of New York is to foster student-centered education and the advancement of knowledge through scholarly research. As a public university with public purposes, it also seeks to contribute to the social, cultural and economic life of New York.
The Colin Powell Center's Service-Learning Program upholds this mission by encouraging CCNY students to engage in meaningful community service through placements at government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational entities, and advocacy groups throughout New York City.
