Eduardo Dueñas, a native of the Bronx, is majoring in psychology and minoring in English at City College. Eduardo has a passion for helping members of underrepresented groups build the foundation for success now required in today’s and tomorrow’s societies. He developed this passion through travel to the Dominican Republic and Spain to study diverse cultures and explore ways to further diversify local communities. Eduardo currently works in the City University of New York’s Dominican Studies Institute, which focuses on the study of the Dominican population in New York and globally. Eduardo’s goal is to integrate work in politics with psychology to advance a campaign to provide aid and resources to underrepresented groups in education.
