By Plane
From LaGuardia Airport in Queens there are two methods to get to campus.  (LaGuardia is in northern Queens.)

Taxi across Triborough Bridge, westbound on 125th Street across Manhattan, take right onto Amsterdam Avenue, up Amsterdam to 138th Street.  (Approx. $30 incl. toll, but ask the driver for a quote first).

M-60 bus across Triborough Bridge (no toll), westbound on 125th Street across Manhattan, transfer to M-100 or M-101 bus (same stop) at Amsterdam Avenue and 125th Street, take that bus up Amsterdam to 138th Street.  About 45 minutes.

From JFK International Airport in Queens there are several methods to get to campus.  (JFK is in southern Queens.)

AirTrain Service.  Costs $5 to take the train from any JFK terminal to the IND Howard Beach Station and the "A" train.  For $2 more (in coin) you can get onto the "A" train all the way to the IND 145th Street Station in northern Manhattan (about 50 minutes).  Exit the southern exit, walk west up one block to 145th Street and Convent Avenue, then south to 138th Street.  Entrance to NAC is on the plaza at 138th – 137th Street.

Taxi across Queens to the Triborough Bridge, westbound on 125th Street across Manhattan, take right onto Amsterdam Avenue, up Amsterdam to 138th Street.  (Approx. $50 incl. toll, but ask the driver for a quote first).

Take the private express bus from JFK to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.  Leaves every half-hour, trip takes about 45 minutes.  This will leave you across from GCT at 41st Street and Park Avenue.  (About $15-$20, no toll.  Pay the driver.).  From there you have two possible routes.  (1) The M-101 bus northbound up Third Avenue which takes about an hour but delivers you to the campus doorstep.  Or (2) the subway (faster): take the Shuttle at GCT to Times Square, there switch to the Broadway - 7th Avenue subway line, and go up Broadway on the #1 local to the 137th Street stop.  This leaves you at the foot of a hill to climb up  - two blocks on 138th Street to Amsterdam Avenue and the campus.  (If you have a lot of luggage we recommend you take the M-101 bus.)
