Internships and Scholarships
The Rangel Center coordinates and supports a variety of internship programs designed to encourage interest in public service and to provide students with the opportunity to contribute to their communities and their nation.

WESTON SCHOLARSHIPS/INTERNShips
Josh and Judy Weston Public Service Scholarships support undergraduates who work while studying. The program pays students who commit to performing 400 hours per year of public service. The program is open to full-time sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all majors.

Benefits:
  o  Tuition assistance of $5,000 for each semester students continue in the program.
  o  Policy briefings and workshops.

Requirements:
  o  Students must demonstrate a sincere interest in public service. 
  o  Applicants must be at least a Sophomore.
  o  Students must complete 200 hours of community service per semester.
  o  Students must have and maintain a 3.2 GPA.
  o  Internships must be in government agencies or nonprofit organizations.
  o  Students must attend workshops, lectures, and meetings organized by Rangel Center Staff

RANGEL CENTER GRADUATE STUDENT INTERNSHIPS and Scholarships
The Rangel Center provides scholarships and paid internships for students in CCNY's Master’s Degree Program in Public Service Management.  The program, which awards an MPA degree, requires graduate students to complete 400 hours of public service in New York City or Washington DC.

The Colin Powell Center for Policy Studies  offers a variety of public-service oriented scholarships and fellowships.  Also, CCNY’s International Studies Program provides students the chance to earn credits for study abroad.
