We would be extremely pleased to have your organization sponsor one of our interns.  Our students serve in Washington, DC, New York City, and (eventually) Albany.  They are permitted to work in government agencies, nonprofit organizations, public interest research groups, and related public service organizations. 

Some of our students seek full-time summer positions, others are interested in part-time academic-year slots. Specific start and end dates, as well as daily schedules, may be arranged between the employer and the student.  Work in an organization must be at the professional level.  We discourage positions involving mostly clerical responsibilities. For some programs, supervisors may be requested to fill out a short questionnaire about the performance of their intern.  Members of the Rangel Center staff sometimes make site visits, but clear those in advance with the sponsoring organization.
