The MPA Program at CCNY
The Charles B. Rangel Center provides various types of support to students seeking a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from City College's Public Service Management Program (PSM). In addition to scholarships and paid internships, the Rangel Center sponsors career building activities, a speakers series, a public-policy writing workshop, and a statistics support program. The PSM program graduated its first students in May 2010. The deadline for admission to the program is March 1 of each year.

Scholarships and Fellowships
The Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service, provides various types of financial support to assist its students.
- Tuition Assistance
Students in the PSM program can receive assistance up to the full amount of tuition based on need, academic standing, commitment to public service, accomplishments, and other considerations. Read more and apply

Students with research experience can receive stipends in return for assisting faculty with research. Read more and apply
Speakers and Seminars
The Rangel Center sponsors a variety of presentations on important policy topics.

Career Building
The Rangel Center and the PSM graduate program support a variety of events designed to help graduate students in the Public Service Management Program find jobs and prepare for their future careers. The Center helps recruit potential employers for both City College and City University public-service career fairs. In addition, it sponsors career networking events in Washington, DC and New York City. For spring semester 2012 the program will feature workshops on resume writing, job interviewing, and finding federal jobs. see schedule
Public Policy Writing
The Rangel Center offers regular one-on-one assistance for students in need of help with writing effective policy papers. Assistance is coordinated by CCNY fine arts graduate Mathew Longo. The Center also offers a series of policy writing workshops covering a variety of topics, including getting to the point, and common grammatical errors.
Statistics Support Program
Incoming PSM students are offered an intensive boot camp in math and statistics that is designed to equip those who need it with the math and statistics skills necessary for successful studies in public service.The Rangel Center also offers one-on-one tutoring in statistics and quantitative methods.
