Student Government
Overview of Graduate Student Council at CCNY

The Graduate Student Council is encouraging graduate students to start clubs or to participate in active graduate clubs. You can start a club related to almost any subject of interest. Currently, active graduate clubs are related to International Relations, Student Liberation Action Movement, Art, French and books. If your interests vary from those mentioned above, why not consider initiating your own club or organization.

The process for funding is as follows: first, you need to do a proposal, where the objective of the club is defined. Then you need to select an officer responsible for the club; a person who is going to be responsible for organizing it. Then you need at least 20 students to join as members, and in order to do that, you need to include their signatures on the proposal. Finally, come with your proposals outlining the activity to us and we will provide you with the resources needed. This process has to be done at the beginning of each semester.

For more information see a GSC representative in NAC 1/113 or call 212-650-5319
