Child Development Center
Fieldwork/Work-Study/CUNYCAP Placement Site
The Center provides an academic function for the College.  Students from the School of Education, School of Liberal Arts, and the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Research use the Center as a field placement site, earning 1–6 credits.  They work with the children in the classroom from the perspective of their particular discipline, under supervision of the classroom teachers.

Work-study students, earning income through financial aid, work with the children in the classroom under supervision of the classroom teachers or assist in the offices as administrative clerks.

CUNYCAP students, pursuing master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education, work in the classroom under the supervision of the classroom teachers.
