The CUNY Citizenship & Immigration Project The CUNY Citizenship & Immigration Project has seven Immigrant Centers located on CUNY campuses throughout the five New York City boroughs. Each Immigrant Center provides professional and confidential legal counseling free of charge to all members of the New York City community; students as well as non-students. These Immigrant Centers offer experienced paralegals and immigration attorneys who provide expert advice on a number of immigration concerns. Information for U.S. "green card" holders who wish to become U.S. citizens, filing adjustment of status petitions, working through asylum and refugee issues and diversity lottery applications are just a few of the free services provided to assist with your immigration goals.
The City College campus location for the Immigrants' Center is located on the first floor in the North Academic Center in Room 1/206. You may visit or call for an appointment at (212) 650-6620. Visit the
CUNY Citizenship & Immigration Project website for information regarding other Immigrant Center locations and hours of operation, specific services and immigration activities in your neighborhood.
