Emergencies

Emergencies imply danger or perceived danger to people, property, the environment, etc.; when in doubt, call the emergency number (ext. 7777) immediately. Dialing 7777 rings an alarm in the Security office and also identifies the phone from which the call originated. Emergency calls may also be made from yellow phone boxes located inside or close to buildings throughout the campus. Emergency phones are also found in all passenger elevators. Depressing the single button on the installation automatically dials the emergency number, provides the phone’s location, and allows hands-free operation.
