Corey Gingue grew up in a college town in Vermont where he developed his love for the written word. He first attended American University in Washington, DC as an International Business major, but left before earning a degree to work in banking, restaurants, and lifestyle management across the country before claiming New York as home and joining the City College community.
Unable to let go of any book, Corey's large library has followed him through his many moves, much to the dismay of his friends and family who have helped to carry them into many walk-up apartments. At City College, Corey is following his passion for literature rather than having it follow him. He hopes to research the progress of the 19th century novel through the literary, political, and religious traditions of Great Britain and France, ultimately earning a PhD in order to pass on his love of literature to others as a professor and researcher.
