New Benefits RatesAttention all NYC Benefits participants: Please be advised that the premium and optional rider costs have changed. You may view the new rates for Instructional and non-teaching Instructional Staff, and Adjuncts by visiting the CCNY Benefits home page. Please contact Kim Ferguson at x7963 for more information.
Effective May 15th, Corporate Counseling Associates (CCA) will refer all new cases to our new Employee Assistance Program provider, Deer Oaks. For more information on the services they provide, please call (888) 993-7650, or visit their website. To log in; please use the company code: CUNY.
Effective March 22, 2015, an MTA approved fare hike of 25 cents, will go into effect. This will increase the base fare from $2.50 to $2.75 per ride, for the bus, subway and MTA Staten Island Railway. These increases will also affect the MetroCard 30-day unlimited, Pay Per Ride, Access-a-Ride, Long Island Railroad and the Metro-North Railroad. The new rate list can be found on the MTA Website. Please be advised; the monthly pre-tax limit is $130.00. Deductions that exceed this amount will be subject to taxes.
Employees who wish to adjust their deductions accordingly, enroll in the program, suspend their payroll deductions, or cancel their participation in the Commuter Benefits Program, can download, fill out and submit a WageWorks form to the HR Office, Shepard Hall, Room 50. Please be advised that changes to your WageWorks deductions may take up to 2 pay periods to take effect.

January 2015Please be advised: Adjuncts who are currently enrolled in health benefits will receive a re-certification form from CUNY Central Office. Please fill out the form in its entirety, and fax or mail to the address listed on the form. If you have access to other health benefits, or are dually enrolled in alternate coverage, you will be dropped from this plan. If you have been dropped or have any questions in regards to the re-certification form, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Please view updated Voluntary Savings Information for tax-deferred annuities, and retirement contributions for the upcoming 2015 year. You may download the 2015 Salary Reduction Agreement form and submit to Shepard Hall, 50 to the Benefits Officer, Kim Ferguson for processing.
Applications for Adjunct health benefits will no longer be accepted. Those who have submitted their forms prior to the original Sept 30th deadline, will not have a lapse in coverage (coverage will be retroactive and continuous). However, those who have submitted their applications after Nov 1st, coverage will begin Dec 1st. Please see your College Benefits Coordinator for more information.

The Health Care Flexible Spending Account Enrollment Period has been extended to November 14th! Moreover, the limit for contribution has increased from $2,500 to $2,550. Please call Kim Ferguson at x7963 for more information.

Please be advised! Aetna HMO will be changing to an EPO effective January 2015. Highlights of the new EPO plan include: No referrals necessary, PCP's are no longer required, Providing a larger provider network and much more!
