Food Safety Education and Certification
ServSafe® Food Safety Manager Certification
This test-preparation course, created by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation, prepares you to take the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Exam (FPMC) and the NYC Department of Health's Food Handler's Test. Once you complete this course and pass the exam you will be referred to the NYC Health Academy for a 3 hour NYC Health code regulations workshop and the NYC Food Safety Examination. The course meets the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets' educational certificate requirements for supermarkets, grocery stores, and meat markets. Re-certification is required every five years, or as determined by jurisdiction.

Food Safety Education for Employees
This one-day seminar is approved by the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets (for Employees) and meets Article 20-C of the NYS Agriculture and Markets Law food safety education certification requirement for retail food stores that prepare food on their premises. Re-certification is required every two years when the food processing license is renewed. There is no test for re-certification.
