Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program

More than 70% of our students passed the last PTCE exam

Prerequisite: High School diploma or GED

There has been an increased demand for Pharmacy Technicians in recent years and this trend is expected to continue. This is great news for prospective student as it allows you to follow the path of an exciting and new career that is in demand. Topics covered in this course include Pharmacy Law, Human Anatomy & Physiology , Medical Terminology, Pharmacology and the basic arithmetic and pre-algebra math required to prepare and dispense drugs. This course teaches students about serving patients, maintaining medical inventory control systems and managing a pharmacy practice. Students are also prepared to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE), a nationally recognized certification examination administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
