How to Register
 
Registration:
Full payment is required when you register. You may pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express), money order, voucher, or business check.  Personal checks and cash are not accepted.

By Phone:
Call (212) 650-7312 to register over the phone using either a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit card. 
 
By Fax:
Print out the CPS registration form and fax it to (212) 650-6614 along with your
credit card information (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express).
 
By Mail:
Print out and complete the CPS Registration Form.  Mail the completed registration form, along with your money order, or credit card information (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) to:

Discounts:
Senior citizens receive a discount of $25 off the price of any open course costing $99 or more (except computer courses). CCNY faculty, staff, and students receive a 10% discount on courses (except where exclusions may apply). Discounts cannot be combined with other offers.
ID Cards
All CCNY CPS students enrolled in a certificate program are issued CCNY photo ID cards.  Continuing and Professional Studies students enrolled in workshops, seminars, and individual courses must present a registration receipt and state ID to enter any building on campus.All CCNY CPS students enrolled in a certificate program are issued CCNY photo ID cards.  Continuing and Professional Studies students enrolled in workshops, seminars, and individual courses must present a registration receipt and state ID to enter any building on campus.
 
Classroom/Course Information  
Classroom information will be posted in Shepard Hall, Room 2, on the first day of class.  Books and other course materials are not included  in the cost of a course (with some exceptions).  You are expected to bring required textbooks with you the first day of class. 
Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing (via fax, email or in person) 10 business days prior to the first day of class. If CPS cancels a course a 100% refund, including the registration fee, will be given. If the student withdraws at least 10 business days prior to the first day of class, a 100% refund will be given ( less the $25 registration fee). No refund will be given after the first class session. There are no refunds on one- or two-day workshops. Credit card refunds are credited to the card used to register. Money order and business check payments are refunded via a check mailed four weeks after a course cancellation.

Application for Admission – Certificate Programs

Students who wish to enroll in any of the CPS Certificate Programs should complete an Application for Admission form and submit it to Jessica Lacen, the program advisor. Forms are available at the CPS office, Shepard Hall, Room 2, and can be downloaded from the CPS website: www.cps.ccny.edu

Letter of Attendance

Students will be given letters of attendance at the completion of the Certificate Program if they attend at least 80% of the classes for a course that meets for 10 hours or more.

Request for Waiver of Certificate Program Course

If you believe you have already taken a course that is the equivalent of one of the program course requirements you may apply to have the course requirement waived.  Waiver requests must be made in writing using a waiver request form. Along with the waiver request form you must furnish proof of completion of the course you believe meets the program requirement.  For additional information and a copy of the form visit: www.cps.ccny.edu

Transcript and Certificate Requests

Requests for transcripts and Program Certificates must be made by completing the appropriate form (Transcript Request form and/or Certificate Request form). You can download these and other forms from the CPS Forms page.
