Welcome to the Center for Worker Education

Step by StepThe Center for Worker Education is widely known as a small, high-quality college program where working adults get a first-rate college education. Students attend classes after work and on Saturdays, graduating in a timely way with a CCNY bachelor’s degree. Nearly 2,500 students have graduated CWE in its 25-year history. Students get all of their courses and student services at one Lower Manhattan location which, for many, is close to their place of work. They are assisted by the Center’s comprehensive academic advising program, as well as with tutorials, counseling, financial aid and other student services.
