| NEW YORK, January 10, 2007 – The City College Center for Worker Education (CWE) has officially moved in and settled inside its new home at 25 Broadway. The school’s new home will be on the seventh floor of the historic Cunard Building, a New York Landmark whose other tenants include Telehouse, Managed Health, Inc., and Healthfirst Inc. The 44,000 square feet of leased space will include 15 classrooms to accommodate 750 bachelor’s degree students, a state-of-the-art auditorium with 150 seat capacity, workshop classrooms, smart seminar rooms, an improved full-size computer lab, a student lounge, public information display, and a student study area/library resource room. The new location is near several subways lines as well as other mass transit lines. Students are encouraged to check the CWE website, http://www.ccny.cuny.edu/cwe for updates.
