Financial Aid
All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid as soon as possible. Students may be eligible for grants depending on numerous factors, such as their income during the previous year, their current income, the number of dependents they have, college attendance by family members, medical expenses, unemployment, etc. Most students are eligible for loans.

The major financial aid programs available to Center for Worker Education students are: Federal Pell Grants Federal Work Study Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants Perkins Loans William D. Ford Direct Loans Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Aid to Part-Time Study (APTS) All students applying for financial aid should attend a workshop, offered at the Center for Worker Education at 25 Broadway, 7th floor.

Bring your completed federal tax form (such as 1040 or 1040A) or other income information. You do not need an appointment to attend a workshop. If you would like information about financial aid, call Jean Weisman or Bonita Bonet at 925-6625 ext. 237.
