THE FRANCES S. PATAI FUND ON THE NAZI HOLOCAUST
The Frances S. Patai Fund on the Nazi Holocaust at the City College Center for Worker Education is a unique and important New York City program that includes a lecture series each semester, “The Nazi Holocaust & Genocide & Human Rights” as well as courses on the Nazi Holocaust and Human Rights. The lectures and funding for these special courses are made possible by a generous bequest from the estate of Frances S. Patai (1930-1998), actress, dancer, City College alumna, feminist, teacher, writer and trade unionist.

STUDY ABROAD OPPORTUNITIES
Each summer the Center sponsors at least one course in comparative social studies that involves travel during the summer. The Center has sponsored classes in the History and Culture of Puerto Rico resulting in a study at the University of Puerto Rico. The Center has also convened a class on comparative race relations, which culminated in a trip to Northern College, United Kingdom. AUTOBIOGRAPHY/LIFE EXPERIENCE PROGRAM
The Center awards life experience credit. This program is a two-part program involving rigorous writing and reflection on one’s life and experiences. Students interested in this program must apply.
