Dr. Latif Jiji, Kayser Professor of Mechanical Engineering who received the American Society for Engineering Education ‘(ASEE's) prestigious Ralph Coats Roe Award for Outstanding Teaching, has now been featured in the New York Daily News. Click here to be linked to the Daily News Story.

The award, which comes with a $10,000 honorarium, will be presented this June at ASEE's 2008 Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. Professor Jiji has been affiliated with City College for more than 40 years where he has consistently excelled in both the classroom and research. In 2002, he was the first faculty member to receive the Grove School of Engineering’s Teacher of the Year award, and he has been cited on numerous other occasions, including being the recipient of City College’s Outstanding Teacher Award in 1988.
