OSD: Office of Student Development
The Grove School of Engineering’s Office of Student Development (OSD) is responsible for students with less than 45 credits in terms of their academic advisement, registration, counseling and initial academic standards. Under the directorship of Rawlins Beharry, this office facilitates the successful transition of new freshman students and prepares them to navigate The City College of New York and Grove academic curriculum. Its comprehensive array of academic services supports this successful transition to college and the eventual graduation of students from the Grove School. It coordinates free tutoring, student activities and leadership development, and career development including assistance with internship search for all of Grove's students. To enhance students’ college experience, OSD has a vibrant slate of new student and co-curricular programs, diversity initiatives, career/professional opportunities, and special programming. OSD is located in the Steinman Hall Suite 2M7, on the second floor mezzanine (Floor 2M), and it can be reached at 212-650-8040.
