Careers in Studies
American studies majors often pursue graduate careers in English, history, political science, anthropology, sociology, music, and art, as well as in urban public policy. Others go on to careers in business, education, government, journalism, or social work, while others may pursue advanced degrees in the humanities or the social sciences, or train for professions in law or medicine.
