About Ya-chen Chen
Professor Ya-chen Chen completed her Ph.D. in Sino-Western Comparative Literature and Ph.D. Minor in Women’s Studies at Purdue University, followed by postdoctoral research at Stanford University.
Her academic focuses include Chinese/Taiwanese/Hong Kong literature, women & gender studies, cultural studies, and cinema. She serves as the director of Asian Studies Program and coordinator of the Chinese language program.
