About Eve Sourian
Prof. Sourian specializes in 19th Century French Literature. She is the author of Madame de Staël et Henri Heine: Les deux Allemagnes (1974). In addition to articles and reviews, she has published four critical editions of works by George Sand, Les Nouvelles (1986), Isidora (1990), Impressions et souvenirs (2005), and Nouvelles lettres d’un voyageur (2005). She teaches at the Ph.D., Program in French at the CUNY Graduate Center.
