About Jennifer Roberts
Prof. Robert’s is particularly interested in Greek democracy and political theory. She has edited the works of Herodotus and Thucydides, and her books include: Accountability in Athenian Government (l982) and Athens on Trial: The Antidemocratic Tradition in Western Thought (l994). She is also the co-author of Ancient Greece, A Political, Social, and Cultural History (1998), now in its second edition. Professor Roberts’ books have been translated into Spanish and Greek. She is president of the Association of Ancient Historians.
