Editing Suites:
6 editing suites (FCP and select AVID) are available for 2nd year MFA students only, who will have 24-hrs/7 days swipe-key card access.  These rooms are assigned for 2nd year MFA Thesis projects only.

Dubbing/Viewing Room:
Dubbing decks are set up and available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, for dubbing most formats (except PAL). Students may also view VHS tapes and DVDs in this room.

Writing & Internet Lab:
iMac computers, printer and a scanner are available for 1st and 2nd year MFA student use.  All computers have T1 Internet access. 

Digital Post Lab:
Equipped with iMac Intel Core Duo systems with SuperDrives (DVD-R/CD-R).  Each iMac has its own DVCam deck for capturing. Computers have Final Cut Studio (including DVD Pro) and select Adobe programs.  MFA students have 24-hrs/7 days swipe card access.  An additional Pro-Tools audio system station is also set up in this room (password protected for 2nd year MFA student use only).

Equipment Check-Out Office:
Equipment check-out location for both MFA and undergraduate students in MCA Department.  Reservation forms (ERC's) and MFA Program Director’s (in some cases the Professor’s) signature is required for checking out any and all equipment.  Thesis students in their 2nd year of study have priority.

Shooting Stage:
We offer two shooting stages, one equipped with a greenscreen and a lighting grid, and the other with a pre-built room set.  Each studio is equipped with a full shooting package including camera and sound equipment as well as a set of Mole Richardson lights and assorted grip gear that is specific to the function of the studio.  The studios are available to students enrolled in production classes and exclusive use is granted to MFA students with options to reserve the studio over weekends, holidays and between semesters.

MFA Student Production Office and Lounge:
Lounge chairs, conference tables,  and workspace with a phone/fax/kitchenette.  In addition, mailboxes and lockers (students need to supply their own locks) are assigned at the beginning of each Fall semester.  24-hour physical key access for MFA students only.
