Summa Cum Laude Student Finds his Passion in Film IvanButka Ivan Bukta was born in Novi Sad, Serbia. After growing up through wars, poverty and upheavals in his country, he followed his passion and a lifelong dream to become a student of Film and Video Production at the City College of New York.

working as a screenwriter and director in film and television. He is currently writing a couple of feature-length screenplays, a mystery thriller "Adam Blackburne" and an autobiographical "Our Private Wars," which deals with his experience as a refugee during the NATO bombing of Serbia.
