The initial project award of $10,000 may qualify for additional funding up to $50,000 as the project progresses and the award also entitles the artists an in-depth program worth $25,000 to help build skills in fundraising, networking, marketing, and strategic planning. Many of the eteam projects involve buying random pieces of land on eBay (a cultural experiment in its own right) and then activating the possibilities that are inherent in the site as the eteam envisage them, creating temporary realities and presenting such realities through video, websites and large-scale installations.
