How to Apply
All applicants must
apply to City College, and contact the Department of Music (212-650-5411) to schedule an audition. Auditions for fall admission to the classical vocal studies B.F.A. program are scheduled for
Friday, March 15, 2013.
Applicants should prepare two contrasting selections from the standard vocal repertoire: art song, oratorio or opera. One selection should be in English, the other in a foreign language. Selections should be memorized. An accompanist will be provided (you may bring your own if you wish). Please bring a copy of your music for the accompanist
Applicants outside the NYC area may submit a CD audition (no DVDs, please).
