Undergraduate Studies

The core program provides an integrated background in all areas of the biological sciences from cell and molecular biology through genetics and organismic biology and on to ecology and evolution. Electives allow students to further explore their own interests and prepare for careers directly in the work force or for entry in professional or graduate programs. There are opportunities for research with the faculty through our independent studies and honors programs. Several programs are available that serve specific needs.
