INTRODUCTORY COURSES
These courses are tailored for students who have had little or no previous experience in science. They may be used to fulfill science requirements for Humanities and Social Science majors.
BASIC COURSES
General Chemistry is a requirement for all Science majors and students in several departments of the School of Engineering. Every course listed forms the foundation of the Chemistry major. They are preparation for the advanced courses and all Chemistry majors, regardless of concentration, MUST take them all.
ADVANCED COURSES
These courses are open only to Chemistry majors and are specific requirements for each concentration.
NOTE: In order to move on to the next course, all prerequisites must be passed with a grade of C, or higher. C- is not is considered passing for Chemistry courses.
