Interests: Using stable isotopes of water as a tracer of the water budget, structure and evolution of hurricanes (with James Lawrence, University of Houston), modeling and measuring atmospheric optical phenomena (sky color, rainbows, halos, coronas with Javier Hernandez-Andres, University of Granada, Spain and Michael Vollmer, University of Applied Sciences, Brandenburg, Germany), examination of the atmospheric structure revealed by CCNY Lidar, modeling studies of the impact of landfall and sea surface temperature on Hurricanes..
Interests: Investigation of earth surface properties related to hydrological and climate change applications. Dr. Tedesco is currently Team Leader of the SWE-AQUA NASA product, team member of the NASA Cost Mission Group for the CLPP mission and Team Leader on a NASA project combining active and passive microwave observations for a future satellite mission.
Interests:Satellite remote sensing and modeling of clouds and water vapor in the context of climate change and global warming. Currently, Dr. Luo is a team member of the NASA CloudSat mission and European Union (EU)'s MOZAIC project.
