alumni As a program that trains future professionals in the field of international affairs, the MPIR has created a network to offer an inexpensive way to facilitate networking among students and working alumni. This network is designed to significantly assist MPIR students in developing their careers following graduation, and provides a mechanism for established professionals to maintain contacts among their fellow students and alumni from the program.
Founded in September 2006, the MPIR Network is a work in progress.
The network is hosted by CIGI:

CIGI is an international think tank founded to provide solutions to the world's most pressing governance challenges. CIGI strives to find and develop ideas for global change by studying, advising and networking with scholars, practitioners and governments on the character and desired reforms of multilateral governance.
IGLOO is an international network promoting the creation of new and innovative governance solutions through an online knowledge exchange.
Researchers, practitioners and policy makers from around the world use IGLOO to facilitate change through improved connections to people, information and processes.
Registered members of the MPIR Network can click on the link or image above to log in to the site. Alumni and students who are not yet members can request an invitation to join the network by emailing Samuel Martell
Other projects include:
- Social Events
- Careers Section
- Alumni Conference
In the months ahead the network will be seeking assistance with some of these projects. Requests for help will be posted on these pages and on the IR bulletin board.
