Applicants with some personal or professional experience in international affairs (in government, an international organization, or an international non-governmental organization) are particularly encouraged to apply (although this is not a requirement for admission). We also are particularly interested in applicants seeking a career in international affairs.

Requirements for Admission

• A minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 (or its equivalent)

• Three letters of recommendation from undergraduate teachers and/or recent employers. At least two of the letters should be from a college professor.

• A 2-page statement of interest that discusses your reasons for pursuing a graduate education and demonstrates your ability to do so.

• All applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) exam with results within the last two years.

•Foreign applicants must take the TOEFL exam and receive a minimum score of 90. The exam ranges from 0-120 on the internet-based test (IBT)
